Guttigaru: Man kills son in fight over Chicken curry

A dispute over chicken curry turned into a fatal brawl, leading to the death of a man in Guttigaru.

The accused identified as Sheena, a resident of Matru Majalu has been arrested for killing his son Shivaram (32) in a fit of rage.

The incident occurred last night when Shivaram returned home and noticed that the chicken curry was finished. He raised an objection which led to a quarrel with his father.

The argument soon turned violent, and allegedly Sheena hit Shivaram on the head with a hammer. The blow was severe, causing a skull fracture that led to Shivaram’s immediate death.

Upon receiving information, the Subrahmanya police arrived at the scene and arrested Sheena.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Kadaba Hospital for further investigation. The incident has shocked the residents of Guttigaru.
