Kalaburagi: A man allegedly poisoned his two children to death at Bhairampalli Thanda in Chincholi Taluk on Thursday night and later committed suicide by jumping before a train.

The deceased have been identified as Sanjeev (35), Rohita (4) and Parvin (3).

Sanjeev’s dismembered body was found near the railway tracks near Tandur in Telangana on Friday afternoon.

It is gathered that Sanjeev, who is employed in a private company in Hyderabad, had recently returned to the village.

Reportedly he called his family members and informed them that he had poisoned his children and had consumed poison himself. However, the police only found dead bodies of the children on the spot and hence launched a search for Sanjeev.

It is suspected that Sanjeev committed the crime owing to compatibility issues with his wife.

Miriyana Police registered a case in this regard.
