Man posts defaced photo of Koragajja on social media; complaint filed

Mangaluru: In yet another shameful incident,  a miscreant posted a defaced photograph of Koragajja daiva on social media.

It is said that man is living abroad and his mobile number is available. Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) filed a complaint at the Bajpe police station and urged to take strict action against the accused for hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

Earlier this year, four cases of miscreants dropping objectionable writings and condoms in donation boxes of the Koragajja daiva had come to light. A case in this regard was registered at Pandeshwar, Kadri, and Ullal police stations.

Police had reportedly arrested two persons accused of tarnishing the sanctity of the deities. Nawaz, one of the miscreants involved in the crime took ill after the incident and died of an illness.
