Man sets out to invite family for daughter’s wedding; tragically killed in road accident

Vittla: One person was killed and four others were injured in a collision between two cars on National Highway 75 near Budoli here in the early hours of Sunday, April 10.
The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Achari (65) a resident of Kurubarahalli, JC Nagar in Bengaluru. Prajwal (22), Narayana, Manjunatha, and Raghuchandra sustained injuries, sources said.
Lakshman Achari was reportedly on his way to his native for inviting relatives and friends to his daughter’s wedding. Prajwal was driving the car from Bengaluru, sources added.
The other car involved in the accident was reportedly on its way from Mangaluru to Mysuru, missed taking the turn at Mani, and continued on the Bengaluru route.
A case in this regard has been registered at the Vittla Police Station.
