Man stabs sister to death at Kundapura

Kundapur: In a shocking incident, a man stabbed his sister at thier residence here on Sunday.

The accused, Annappa Bhandary(45) lived with his sister Vijaya Bhandary (50) at their residence in Kundpura.

It has been learnt that on July 22 evening, Annappa demanded Vijaya to give away her gold. When she refused his demands he stabbed her using a knife.

Vijaya suffered injuries and was rushed to KMC Manipal for treatment.

On Saturday, she died as she failed to respond to treatment.

Annappa is arrested on murder charges. Further probe is on.
