Man suffers heart attck on bus, saved by timely action

Thirthahalli: A passenger who sustained a heart attack onboard the Durgamba bus was saved due to timely action of the bus conductor and driver.
The incident took when the bus, plying between Shimoga and Mangaluru reached Thirthalli. The conductor noticed that the passenger suffered a heart attack and informed the same to the bus driver.
The bus was then taken to the nearest hospital and the passenger was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Later the bus proceeded towards its destination.
Despite the preliminary treatment, the passenger’s condition remained critical and it was advised to shift him to a hospital in Shimoga for further treatment.
Ambulance drivers Ranjith, Rahmat and Pawan drove swiftly and ensured that the passenger was admitted to the hospital within a short span of time.
The passenger survived the heart attack due to the timely medical attention he got owing to the efforts of the bus driver, conductor, hospital staff and the ambulance drivers
