Man threatens wife from prison

Bengaluru: A woman living in central business district (CBD) has filed a police complaint against her husband accusing him of threatening her from jail.

As per the sources, the woman said that her husband threatened her because she had filed the molestation complaint which landed him in prison. Following her complaint in February, police had produced the man before a local court, which remanded him in judicial custody at Central Prison (Parappana Agrahara).

The woman in her complaint said, “Recently, my brother-in-law gave me his mobile phone saying someone wanted to talk to me. Not knowing the person’s identity, I spoke on the phone, only to hear my husband’s voice. He screamed and said the day he comes out, he would kill me.”
