Bengaluru: A man with a history of robbery for the past 40 years, having 160 cases against him and who had been behind bars more than 20 times is arrested by the Rajajinagar Police.
Prakash (54), a resident of Soladevanahalli is the one arrested.
Prakash began robbing when he was in SSLC in the year 1978.
He is the husband of three wives, having seven children. His brother Varadaraj, sons Balraj, Mithun, and son-in-law John were partners in crime.
In the year 1997, he had stolen 7 kg of gold in Goa and recently 4 kg of gold from a jewellery shop at Sheshadripuram.
As the Rajajinagar Police were in a search for Prakash, at the same time, they had a theft case registered that had taken place a couple of days back at a house in Rajajinagar. While the fingerprint experts and police collected the samples of fingerprints at the house, they matched that of Prakash.
Based on this evidence, the police arrested him.
