Man with his limbs bound found dead in forest

Udupi: A corpse of a man has been found at Edmeru Thakadabailu forest, in Moodubelle village under Shirva police station limits on Friday, January 25. The deceased person is identified as Andrew Martis (55).
The mortal remains of the deceased were found with its hands and legs bound separately and foul play is suspected by the police.
Reportedly, the deceased man’s sister had seen him in the morning travelling on a bike with two other people. He was last seen in Bellepette surroundings at 9:30 am. The deceased man was apparently an alcoholic.
The corpse of the victim was found by some locals and the suspicion of murder created a panic in the village. The location was visited by ASP Kumarchandra and ASI Krishna Acharya visited the spot and investigated.
It is learnt that two suspects have already been arrested. Shirva police have registered a case in this connection.
