Mandya: An argument over removing the hijab broke out between a teacher and parents of the students of Rotary School in Mandya on Monday.

News agency ANI shared a video of the incident in which parents were seen asking the teacher to permit students to enter the school premises wearing hijab. They are heard saying that the girls will remove the hijab before entering the classrooms.

But, the teacher was adamant about the rules and reportedly allowed the students to enter the school only after they remove the headscarf.
