Mandya: Three youths killed in car accident

In a tragic incident, three youths were killed after their car fell into a roadside ditch near Akkihebbalu in Mandya taluk on Saturday night.

The deceased have been identified as Anichit, Pavan Shetty and Chiru, all residents of K.R. Pete.

The mishap is said to have occurred after the car driver lost control of the car. Locals rushed to their rescue, but the youths had sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

K.R. Pete town police reached the spot and shifted their bodies to the government hospital.
