Mangalore: Customs, tax and revenue officials distribute ration to needy

Mangaluru: The officers serving in Customs, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Directorate General of GST Intelligence, (DGGI), along with retired officers of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) distributed food rations to the poor residents of the Thanneerbavi neighbourhood in the city.
The officers performed this act in the name of the CBIC Karnataka COVID Group. They distributed dry ration kits that consisted of boiled rice, dosa rice, cooking oil, tea and sugar to about 115 needy families of the area.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of Baswaraj Nalegave, Commissioner of Customs and Imamuddin Ahmad, Commissioner of Central Tax.
