In a significant decision, Mangalore University has resolved to offer physical marksheets to students along with the digital Digilocker version, as needed. This announcement was made by Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader.
The decision was reached following discussions between the Speaker, the Higher Education Minister, and senior officials from the Higher Education Department at the Speaker’s office in Bengaluru, Khader informed “Udayavani.”
This move comes in response to a report published by “Udayavani” on August 5, titled “Student express dissatisfaction over Digilocker Marksheets,” highlighting student concerns. From now on, students who require physical marksheets can apply to the university and obtain them within a specified timeframe.
Mangalore University’s Registrar of Evaluation, Devendrappa, was present at the meeting where this decision was made.
