The floating bridge at Panambur Beach has swiftly become a new tourist attraction since Sunday. This is the first floating bridge in Dakshina Kannada. Earlier a similar floating bridge was installed at Malpe Beach in Udupi.
Spanning approximately 150 meters, it can accommodate over 50 tourists at a time. It also offers a picturesque view of the sunset amidst the crashing waves. On Sunday, tourists were seen walking along the bridge, enjoying the novelty.
For tourist safety, 12 lifeguards have been stationed along the floating bridge. It is also mandatory to wear life jackets.
Built under the government and private collaboration, the attraction is scheduled to be officially inaugurated on December 27.
