Mangaluru: 18 engagement guests return home after 40 days

Mangaluru: Eighteen relatives of the betrothed girl who were stranded at the girl’s house after the ceremony for 40 days due to the lockdown have returned to their homes on Saturday, May 1.
The engagement was on March 21 at Salamara Gumpakallu in Puttur.
The stranded relatives were from Subrahmanya, Mangaluru and Madikeri.
Tahsildar Ramesh Babu and MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor facilitated the journey of these relatives.
