Mangaluru: 2 inmates injured in prison violence

Mangaluru: Two inmates were injured in violence that erupted in the district jail here on Sunday.
A robbery-accused, Sameer, allegedly attacked two other inmates, Ansar and Zainuddin during breakfast with kitchen items.
Sameer was arrested last year in July for a robbery in Panambur.
Both the injured have been admitted to Wenlock hospital.
City’s Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar visited the prison and reportedly warned the inmates against creating disturbances.
