Mangaluru: A hillock near Ullal experienced landslides on Thursday, July 16 endangering a building. Three families living in the building have moved out.
The landslide on this hillock caused cracks in the building and also uprooted an electric pole.
Due to incessant rains landslides were occurring at elevated places across the district.
Even during last year’s rains a road nearby had developed a small sinkhole.
Ullal Municipal Commissioner, local councillor Zareena and other officials visited the spot for inspection.
