Mangaluru: 44 new COVID-19 cases in DK; 8 of them physicians

Mangaluru: 44 new COVID-19 cases were detected in the Dakshina Kannada district on June 30.

21 0f these were in primary contact with COVID-19 positive cases.

8 positive cases are physicians. This includes a COVID-19 department head of a hospital.

9 Influenza-like Illness, 3 Severe Acute Respiratory Infection, 3 inter-district returnees, 1 inter-State returnee, 5 asymptomatic cases and 2 returnees from Saudi Arabia.
