Mangaluru: A 58-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for making a video supporting actions of the extremist organization Hamas in Israel and posting it on social media, police said.
Taking suo moto cognizance after widespread outrage over the video, Mangaluru North police said they arrested the accused, Zakir of Thokur Jokatte. He has been produced before the court.
Police said that several cases have previously been registered against Zakir, who was seen in a strange getup.
