Mangaluru: 7 arrested on charges of abduction and assault

Mangaluru: Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with a abduction and physical assault incident that occurred in the city on August 23.

Two persons had been allegedly kidnapped and physically assaulted near a private college.

Police sait they have arrested Ibrahim Tabhish (19) and Mohammed Shakif (19) from Panemangalore, Abdulla Hannan (19), Mohammed Shahiq (19) and Mansoor (37) from Bantwal, and U P Tanvir (20) and Abdul Rashid (20) from Bajal for their involvement in the crime.

A case has been registered at the Manglauru North Police Station.
