Mangaluru: Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have successfully apprehended the notorious accused, Thallath (39), who had been evading law enforcement for the past seven months.

This isn’t Thallath’s first brush with the law, police said adding that his criminal record dates back to 2004 when he was involved in an assault case. Since then, he has amassed a staggering 28 cases at various police stations including Mangaluru Rural, Kankanady, Konaje, Barke, Mumbai, and more.
Charges against him include assault on police officers on duty, threatening lives, extortion, and even attempted murder, police added.
