Mangaluru: ACB raid houses of KIADB officer Dasegowda in corruption case

Mangaluru: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the houses of Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) special officer Daasegowda in Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Mandya on Thursday, June 11.

In December 2019, Dasegowda was suspended after he was caught red-handed while taking compensation disbursed for land acquisition and was later granted bail in this case.

Owing to the COVID-19 lockdown, the ACB investigations were on halt. As the government eased the lockdown, the ACB officials resumed operations and raided the houses of Dasegowda.

Mangaluru ACB SP Umaprashant, DYSP Manjunath, inspector Yogish Naik conducted the raid with ongoin investigating.
