Mangaluru: Addl DC releases posters, stickers of anti spitting campaign by Indian Red Cross Society

Mangaluru: Posters and stickers of anti spitting campaign by the district unit of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) were released by Additional deputy commissioner M J Roopa on Saturday, May 30 at DC’s office.

Addressing presspersons after releasing the posters Roopa said, ” Indian Red Cross Society unit of the district comes up with different campaign every year, this year they have launched an anti spitting campaign, under this today we have released posters and stickers through which they requesting people not to spit in public. Hats off to them and I really appreciated their efforts.”

Secretary of Indian Redcross Society Prabhakar Sharma briefed the dignitaries, while CA Shantharam Shetty, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannda welcomed the dignitaries.

After releasing, the stickers were handed over to the Alphons Dsouza, President Auto Riksha Union Society, and Subhash Secretary of the Auto Union.

Probationary IAS Rahul Shinde and Mrs. Gayathri Nayak were also present on the occasion.
