Mangaluru airport is cleanest in the country

Mangalore: The Mangalore International Airport (IXE) has been adjudged the cleanest airport in the country.

In a survey that was conducted across 53 airports in the country, the AAI had inspected terminals, parking lot, toilets, commercial set ups, customer lounge. Based on the reports, IXE won awards for being the cleanest airport in the country.

Airport director V V Rao received the award during the 23rd annual day celebrations of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in New Delhi on Sunday.

Durga Facility Management Services Private Limited is in charge of cleanliness at the Mangaluru airport.
