Mangaluru all set for grand Dasara procession

The grand procession of “Mangaluru Dasara” is set to take place on Tuesday, October 24.
The procession will commence at 4 pm from Kudroli Sri Gokarnath and will conclude by early morning of October 25.
The event will feature the participation of numerous art troupes and groups from various parts of the state, showcasing vibrant tableaus, including depictions of tigers and other costumes, as well as dance and ball teams.
A meeting of tableaus organizers has already been held with the presence of police officials to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
Former Union Minister Janardana Poojari will lead the procession of “Mangaluru Dasara”, which is expected to draw over 2 lakh participants.
The procession will depict figures like Narayan Guru, Ganapati, and Navadurga, following the colorful display of green umbrellas and folk art troupes.
