In a recent development, Amit Singh assumed the role of the deputy inspector general (DIG) of police for the western range in Mangaluru.
Speaking to the media, Singh expressed a firm stance against illegal activities such as drug-related offenses and communal incidents. He emphasized the need for increased monitoring of cybercrime in the region.
The transfer of the former DIG Chandragupta to Bengaluru paved the way for Singh to take over the responsibilities. The event witnessed the presence of Dakshina Kannada SP PCB Rishyant and Udupi SP Dr. Arun Kumar.
