Mangaluru: Anthony Waste Handling Cell employees stage protest

Mangaluru: Anthony Waste Handling Cell Pvt Limited drivers staged a protest on Thursday, December 17 demanding to fulfill the demands of the employees.

The protest was held in front of Anthony Waste Handling Cell’s office.

During the protest, Mangaluru City Corporation joint Commissioner arrived at the spot and assured the protestors that this month’s salary payment will be made within December 21.

The joint Commissioner further assured that the employees will be given a good amount of bonus in January 2021.

The protesters warned that if the Corporation failed to pay the salary within 21 of this month then they will hold an indefinite strike.
