Mangaluru: Beach festival at Tannirbhavi on Dec 28, 29

Mangaluru: As part of the Karavali Utsava, a Beach Festival will be held at Tannirbhavi Beach on December 28 and 29.
The festival will begin with a cultural performance by local artists.
On December 28, at 6:30 PM, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, U.T. Khader, will inaugurate the festival. Following this, a musical program by Manikanth Kadri will take place at 7:30 PM. The festival will also feature various water sports and food stalls.
On December 29, a musical concert by the Raghu Dixit Project is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM, according to Deputy Commissioner Mullai Mugilan, who shared the details during a press conference on Thursday.
The President of the Beach Festival Committee and Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal stated that parking heavy vehicles along the Tannirbhavi Road will be strictly prohibited during the festival. Parking arrangements have been made at five or six spots along the beach access road.
Additionally, ferry services between Sultan Batheri and Tannirbhavi will be increased on festival days.
Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Commissioner Noor Zahara Khanam, Public Relations Officer Khader Shah, and Managing Director of festival sponsor Rohan Corporation Rohan Monteiro, were also present at the press meet.
