Mangaluru: BJP workers protest petrol and diesel price hike

BJP workers conducted a unique protest in Mangaluru today, condemning the state government’s hike in petrol and diesel prices.
This morning, BJP activists gathered in front of the party’s district office in Mangalore. They staged a protest by tying a rope to a car and pulling it from the BJP office to a nearby petrol pump. Some protesters displayed empty cans and funnels, while women participants pushed their two-wheelers in solidarity.
The protest saw the participation of several prominent leaders, including MP Captain Brijesh Chowta, District President Satish Kumpala, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Harish Poonja, Pratapsimha Nayak, MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik, Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur, and Premanand Shetty.
