Mangaluru: Body of fisherman found near Bunder dock

Mangaluru: The body of a fisherman, who drowned after accidentally slipping and falling into the river from his fishing boat was found near the Bunder dock here on Wednesday, December 1 morning.
The deceased identified as Mallapalli Appaiah (36), a native of Andhra Pradesh had set out for fishing with others from Bunder on Tuesday, November 30 evening.
The other fishermen launched a search for him after he slipped and fell into the river but were unable to trace him. The locals intimated the police.
