Mangaluru: Builder Jitendra Kothari & family attacked, Accused arrested

In a shocking incident on Wednesday night, well-known builder Jitendra Kothari and his family were assaulted, leading to the arrest of two suspects by the Barke police. The accused, identified as Tanush Shetty and Ankit Shetty, were apprehended shortly after the attack.

The incident occurred around 11:30 PM when Jitendra was returning home by car from the airport. The suspects followed him to his residence at Kodialbail and attacked him outside his house. When Jitendra’s wife and daughter intervened to stop the assault, they too were attacked.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and the police have stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause.
