Mangaluru: Car service station at Bantwal gutted

Mangaluru: A car repairing and service station on the Puttur-Vittal road near here caught fire burning an unknown number of cars.
It was reported that the fire could have started from an electric short circuit.
Locals rushed to the station and moved out some of the cars parked inside soon after noticing smoke.
Puttur fire station officials are at the spot and have started operations to douse the fire.
The fire affected vehicular traffic on the road.
