Mangaluru: CCB police have apprehended two individuals who had been evading the law for a considerable period.

The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Abdul Fayan (26) of Manjanady and Moiddeen Hafis alias Abhi (47). Police said they were wanted in connection with several criminal cases across Mangaluru City Commissionerate and Dakshina Kannada district.

Police said that Mohammad Abdul Fayan is a notorious figure involved in 23 cases including theft, attempted murder, and assaulting officers and had been absconding for nearly two years after being released on bail.  His criminal activities spanned across various police stations, including Konaje, Ullal, Bantwal Town, and more.
