Mangaluru: CISF PSI attempts suicide; hospitalized

Mangaluru: Central Industrial Security Force PSI attached to New Mangalore Port Trust allegedly attempted to commit suicide by shooting herself on Wednesday, October 12.

The injured is Jyoti Bai (33), wife of Ombeer Singh Parmar, who works as an assistant commandant in MRPL. The incident took place while she was on duty.

She has been admitted to a hospital.

The reason behind this extreme step is said to be a family dispute.

In her suicide note to her mother, Jyoti wrote that no one forced her to take this extreme step.
