Mangaluru: City Corp holds meeting on Amphan preparations

Mangaluru: A meeting was held at the City Corporation’s Mangala Hall on May 20 at 4 pm discussing the various preparations taken in response to the effect of Cyclone Amphan on the city.

Officials from Fire Department, Forest Department, MESCOM and others from the Corporation’s departments attended the meeting.

Setting up of relief camps, testing and readying of emergency-related equipments and the formation of a team of officers to monitor changing situations were discussed in the meeting.

At the meeting, Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar, Deputy Mayor Mrs Janaki Yane Vedavathi, Municipal Commissioner Ajith Kumar and Deputy Commissioner were present in the meeting.
