Mangaluru: Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada of Sri Puthige Matha to be felicitated on Jan 7

Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada of Sri Puthige Matha, who is set to assume the Sarvajna Peetha at Udupi for the fourth time, will be felicitated in Mangaluru on Sunday.
The event is scheduled to commence with a procession from Sharavu temple at 3 pm, led by MLA Vedavyas Kamath. Following this, a civic ceremony will take place at Radhakrishna Mandir at 4 pm, presided over by Mangaluru Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur.
Ahead of the Paryaya, Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada will embark on a series of visits to various temples across the city on Saturday morning. At 3 pm on Saturday, ‘Paada Pooja’ and Tulabhara rituals will be held at the Vadiraja Mantapa, Mallika layout at Kadri Kambala.
His Holiness will perform puja at Nellikai Raghavendra Matha, Hosabettu Raghavendra Matha on Monday, informed Udupi Paryaya Swagatha Samiti President S Pradeep Kumar Kalkura of the Kalkura Foundation.
