Mangaluru: A video of district congress leaders paying final respects to a COVID victim with the face of the uncovered have been making the rounds in the social media and this has given rise to a controversy.
In the video uploaded on the Facebook page of Khader’s fans, the Congress leaders including former MLC Ivan D’Souza and MLA UT Khader were seen lined up around the body of a person along with some staff wearing PPE Kits, however, the facial cover of the deceased was removed.
After the video went viral there have been allegations that this is a clear violation of protocol relating to the disposal of the body of coronavirus patients.
