Mangaluru: Constable of City Armed Reserve Force dies of Covid-19

Mangaluru: A constable belonging to City Armed Reserve Police Force, died due to  Covid-19 on Friday, May 14.

The deceased identified as Shiddappa Shinge (51) is a resident of Hosur in Hukkeri taluk of Belagavi.

It is said that Shidappa had tested positive for coronavirus and was in the hospital for the past two weeks. However, he died after he suffered multiple organ failure

Shidappa has earlier served in the armed forces prior to joining the armed reserve police force of the city in 2016 as a constable.
