Mangaluru Cooker bomb blast: Purushotham discharged from hospital

Mangaluru: Mangaluru cooker bomb blast victim Autorickshaw driver Purushottam Poojary was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, January 14.

Purushottam was injured in the blast that occurred at Nagori in the city on November 19 and was undergoing treatment at Fr Muller’s hospital here.

Dr Uday Kumar K, medical superintendent of Fr Muller’s hospital informed that Purushottam is cured completely, however, he needs to stay inside home for at least a month in order to avoid any infection.

Purushottam’s house is being repaired by Guru Beladingalu Foundation and his family lives in a rented house now.

Reportedly, Purushottam’s medical treatment expenses of were borne through ESI and some part by the government.
