Mangaluru: Cops arrest two including Omani national for possessing Ganja and MDMA

Mangaluru: Police officials on Monday have arrested two people including an Omani national for possessing ganja and MDMA.

The arrested accused are identified as Ahammed Mohammed Musafa Al Mahamani (34) from Oman and Ram (22) from Himachal Pradesh.  51 grams of ganja and 2 grams of MDMA was seized.

It is said that Ahammed visited Goa on a tourist visa and was undergoing physiotherapy treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru. He was caught along with Ram at Golden Plaza hotel.

A case under NDPS Act was filed against them and Ahammed has been booked under Passport Act as his passport has expired.
