Mangaluru: Corpse of newborn found floating on Phalguni river

Mangaluru: A newborn baby’s dead body was found at Thota Bengre floating on the Phalguni river on January 2.

Two crew members of a fishing boat which was returning to the coast found and retrieved the dead body and immediately reported to the local police.

As per reports, the baby is 1-2 days old and it is not known whether the baby was dead before being dumped in the water.
