Mangaluru: No new COVID-19 positive case was reported from the Dakshina Kannada district on April 18.

The one remaining case, a Tablighi Jamaat attendee, whose samples tested COVID-19 positive on April 17, is undergoing treatment in Wenlock hospital here.

Related to this case, the district administration has released a notice to the general public stating that this COVID-19 patient had travelled from Majestic, Bengaluru to Mangaluru on March 20 in Bharathi Travels bus with registration number KA 51 AD 5832, hence all the 32 passengers who had travelled in this bus must immediately report to their nearest Primary Health Centre or Taluk Hospital for testing.

Wenlock’s COVID-19 testing laboratory received 151 samples on April 18 and 7 test reports were received, all negative.
