Mangaluru: A man who had arrived from Dubai with fever and COVID-19 symptoms has returned to the Wenlock District Hospital after walking out of the hospital on Monday, March 9.
The man was allegedly irked by the behaviour of the staff at Mangaluru airport and had hence remained adamant in refusing treatment and sample collection. Later the district administration counselled and convinced the man to return to the hospital.
Deputy commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh stated that the man is now cooperating and is kept in the isolation ward. His samples have been collected and sent to Bengaluru for testing.
