Mangaluru: In order to reduce the spread of Covid-19, only those who have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus can enter malls, cinema theatres in Dakshina Kannada.

Recently, Chief Minister  Basavaraj Bommai had said that government will soon announce further relaxations in Covid-19 protocols in the state.

However, regardless of the relaxation in lockdown rules, Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to make double vaccination certificates mandatory to enter malls in order to curb the spread of the virus.

Visitors are required to show their vaccination certificates at the entry point of the malls. Also, after October 16, people without vaccine certificates will be questioned by the officials and strict action will be taken against them.
