Mangaluru: Dist reports 2 more COVID-19 deaths, toll now 16

Mangaluru: The district on Wednesday, July 1 reported two new Covid-19 deaths. The death toll in the district reached 16.
The deceased are a 78-year-old man from Bengre and 31-year-old from Bhatkal.
The 78-year-old man was suffering from pneumonia and diabetes, while the 31-year-old man who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city for high blood pressure had died a few days back and he has been tested positive today.
