Mangaluru: DK crosses 10K COVID-19 cases on Chaturthi

Mangaluru: With 228 new COVID-19 cases reported on August 22, the total tally of Dakshina Kannada district has now reached 10,137.
In the same day, 4 COVID-19 deaths and 320 discharges also occurred.
The total death and discharge tally presently stands at 305 and 7,513, respectively.
Majority of the cases, 150, were reported from Mangaluru taluk. While Bantwal taluk reported 23, Puttur taluk – 15, Sullia taluk – 8 and Belthangady taluk – 7.
