Mangaluru: DK reports two more COVID-19 deaths; dist toll rises to 22

Mangaluru: The district on Saturday, July 4 reported two more COVID-19 deaths. The death toll in the district rose to 22.

Earlier in the day, an elderly woman from Sulia died of the infection.

On Friday, July 3 Dakshina Kannada breached the 1000-mark with the biggest single-day leap of 97 coronavirus cases.

The tally of those infected in the district rose to 1,010, excluding 10 cases from other districts. Out of the total cases, 498 cases are presently active while 503 persons have recovered.
