Mangaluru: A complaint has been filed with the Wenlock hospital authority against the office of district surgeon and medical superintendent after a woman’s earrings went missing.

In his complaint, Deekaiah urged the authorities to return his mother’s missing earrings.

Reportedly, Deekaiah’s mother was admitted to the hospital following health complications on May 5. The next day the hospital authorities informed him about his mother’s death and on May 7, after receiving the Covid-19 negative report, the mortal remains were handed over to the family.

The family while shifting the body to the ambulance noticed that both the earrings were missing from the deceased’s ears. When the family questioned the staff, they took it very lightly, following which the family filed a complaint with Wenlock hospital authority.
