Madikeri: A 45-year-old employee of the Mangaluru Education department committed suicide in a lodge in Madikeri.
The deceased has been identified as Shivanand (45).
It is said that Shivanand was found hanging in a lodge room near KSRTC bus stand in Madikeri.
The reason for this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
A case has been registered.
