Mangaluru: Educationist Khalid Bava dead

Mangaluru: Prominent city-based educationist Haji Khalid Bava died on Saturday, August 22 from illness.

He was 88 years old and is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters.

Bava had served as the vice president of Badriya Group of Institutions and director of Islamic Academy of Education at Deralakatte.

He was also the president of Zeenath Baksh Juma Masjid and treasurer of Juma Masjid at Kankanady.

The funeral rites of Bava were held in Zeenat Baksh Juma Masjid on the morning of Sunday, August 23.
